Complaints
If you believe the Laguna Beach Tribune has fallen short of its standards, you can complain to the publication. This page explains how to complain and what happens next.
Complaints may concern accuracy, fairness, privacy, or the conduct of our reporting. A complaint about a factual error is handled under our corrections policy: we correct errors promptly and transparently, and when we fix a factual error in a story, we note the correction at the bottom of the article with the date it was made.
To complain, use the contact form and choose the General topic. Include the story URL, what you are complaining about, and the outcome you are seeking.
We read every complaint. Where a complaint is upheld, we correct the record as described in our corrections policy, and the correction is noted on the article it concerns. We do not unpublish stories except in rare cases involving safety or legal orders; when we do, we say so.
